CCQE Fundraiser Breakfast

CCQE is having a fundraiser breakfast at the Claypool Lions Club Saturday, December 4th from 7AM until 9AM. Be sure to mark your calendar.

Fish Fry & Silver Lake Days

Saturday, June 19

The day was really filled with activities for the CCQE. The town of Claypool was buzzing. Some time around 12:30 the breading of chicken and fish began. We had two rooms with a line up of people doing the dipping and breading, fryers were going to beat the band. In the kitchen there were a lot of containers being filled with beans, slaw, tartar sauce and other goodies. In the large room we had a line of tables filled with wonderful baked goods which were baked and donated by many wonderful cooks. I only wish now that I would have taken my camera to show all of you.

In Silver Lake, the fund raising started yesterday with food sales being conducted by several of the Silver Lake people. Sometime they moved their goods down town and started to sell on the street. I believe they had a dunk tank set up but, it became a little chilly and decided that that needed to be discontinued. This evening when I took 50/50 tickets and money down I found Jeff Dotson on the phone selling raffle tickets. Tonight at 8:00 they did the raffle. Hopefully one of you were the lucky winners!!

Thank you all for making our day a success! Without your generous donations to the fish fry, bake sale, food sales, etc. the day would not
have been a success. Every dollar counts towards our attorney expenses. We do have chicken tickets still available. If you need some let me know! Oh yes, I need volunteers for next Saturday!!!! If you were unable to be apart of today's events, please remember future fund raisers.

Thanks to Hacienda and all those who came out to support us on Monday, Nov. 10. The fundraiser was a big success. The CCQE raised $267.
